Goosebumps (2015)

Happy Halloween, everyone, so I want to review another one of my favorite Halloween movies. Goosebumps has always been one of my favorite series. I read the original stories in middle school, and seeing all the monsters come to life in one movie is amazing. The story begins with a teenager named Zack and his mother moving to Madison, Delaware, after handling a rough time when his father passed away. There, he meets his next-door neighbor, the Shivers, but it’s actually the home of the legendary horror kids’ author, R.L. Stine. He has a terrible secret about his work: all the monsters he ever created are actually real, like they crawled out of the original manuscripts. Now Zack, Stine’s daughter Hannah, Stine, and his new friend Champ have to find a way to capture them all again before chaos reigns forever. In the movie, you’ll encounter various monsters, including Slappy, the Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, the Werewolf of Fever Swamp, the Haunted Mask, the Giant Praying Mantis from Shocker Street, and the Lawn Gnomes, among many others. If you enjoy Goosebumps, I highly recommend watching this movie; it deserves an A+++++++ from me. Viewers, beware: you’re in for a scare.
