This spinoff series beautifully illustrates the inspiring journey of how Hope Valley came to be. Originally named Coal Valley, it draws its essence from the beloved series “When Calls the Heart.” Rebecca Clarke and her 11-year-old daughter recently moved to the Western frontier in Canada from Chicago, hoping to start a new life by opening a boarding house for prospectors. This new series is fresh, featuring many emotional scenes and mysteries waiting to be solved. So, for this series, I give it an A+++ for showing us that hope can prevail.
