This one is my all-time favorite Christmas comedy of the year. Jim Carrey played an excellent Grinch in the movie; the storyline showed us more about the Grinch’s background, on why he became the nasty Grinch he is today. We all know the classic version by Dr. Seuss, and this story is the story that tops all of Dr. Seuss’s works. The story starts in Who-Ville, the home of the Who’s, and every who down in Who-Ville liked Christmas a lot, but the Grinch, who lived just on top of Mount Crumpit, did not. One girl named Cindy Lou Who changed all that by showing everyone the true meaning of the holidays. Taylor Momsen did an excellent job as Cindy Lou Who. The song “Where Are You, Christmas?” never fails to uplift my spirits and fill my heart with joy each time I hear it. This Christmas movie deserves an A+ for showing that Christmas is about more than presents and decorations. It reminds us that we should never be alone on Christmas. Merry Christmas, everyone!!!!
