Jungle Cruise (2021)

I am thrilled to experience one of Disney World’s iconic attractions brought to life from the big screen. Jungle Cruise follows Dr. Lily Houghton and her brother, MacGregor, as they embark on an adventurous journey to South America in search of the legendary Tears of the Moon. This ancient legend promises that these tears can heal any illness and break any curse, making their quest both exciting and captivating. In that moment, she crosses paths with Frank Wolff, a fellow seeker on the quest for the Tears. The film intricately explores the theme of trust, a fundamental element that shapes our lives and relationships. It creates unbreakable bonds, like those between a parent and child, as each side stands by you in times of trouble. The villains, however, are confusing because they resemble zombies, spirits, or perhaps even mutants. Disney did not clearly define the villains. They provided background information on the villains and explained how they became that way. This movie deserves a B- due to the ambiguity of the villains. However, it highlights a profound truth: trust is the foundation of all meaningful relationships and friendships.
