Flushed Away is a personal favorite of Dreamworks Animation movies. The story is about a pet rat named Roddy St. James who lives in England and is flushed down the toilet by a sewer rat named Sid. In the sewer, he discovers a city and meets Rita Malone, captain of the Jammy Dodger, who needs her help to return to the surface so he can go home. The villain in the movie is a menacing toad who plans to destroy the city populated by rats. I believe this perfectly illustrates that you are never alone. There’s someone out there for everyone, no matter the circumstances. The best part of this movie is that Hugh Jackman voices Roddy, while Ian McKellen, who won an award for his performance, voices the Toad. This movie gets an A- for showing that everyone has someone meant for them. Being alone in life without anyone to talk to is not fun. Loneliness can be overwhelming, especially when you have no one to lean on during tough times. Having support can make all the difference.
