Jay Jay the Jet Plane is another one of my childhood classics. The series is about a jet plane named Jay Jay who lives in a town called Tarrytown, but it’s at the Tarrytown airport. Jay Jay has many friends like Snuffy, Tracy, Herky, Big Jake, Old Oscar, and Savannah. There are many other characters on the show like Revvin’ Evan the firetruck and Tuffy the tow truck, and of course, we can’t forget about Brenda Blue the one who is in charge of everything at Tarrytown Airport, she is a lovely kind woman who loves all the planes and tries to help them in situations they don’t know how to solve. Jay Jay The Jet Plane has taught me many wonderful lessons like never giving up when things are hard, Learning how to be a good friend, and having patience when you have too much to do today. The show ran for about four seasons and a very famous songwriter and singer for children wrote many of the songs including the theme song he sings with his band Parachute Express his name in Stephen Michael Schwartz. So this series gets an A+ for showing us many lessons like being brave when you’re scared and learning new things like American Sign Language. Here are a few links if you want to get some of the episodes on DVD, books, and watching the actually series on Prime Video with a Yippee TV channel subscription. https://amzn.to/47imG5V, https://amzn.to/47k9j5m, https://amzn.to/3Zbage9.
