Pollyanna (1960)

Pollyanna is a Disney movie that is close to my heart. It’s about a girl named Pollyanna who goes to live with her aunt Polly in Harrington, a small town in the 1910s. When she arrives, she changes the lives of the people of Harrington forever. Pollyanna has always taught me to look on the bright side and for the good in every situation, even a bad one. Even when things become gloomy and depressing, there is always something to smile or laugh about. This movie brightens me even on the bleakest days ever cause whenever I feel sad or mad, I always think about what Pollyanna taught the people of Harrington about looking for the good in everything. The film was an honor to have Hayley Mills, who plays Pollyanna. She also played the twins Sharon & Susan from the original Disney movie The Parent Trap. It was written and directed by David Swift he did an excellent job. The movie is also based on a book, more specifically a novel written by Eleanor H. Porter in 1913 it was also named “Pollyanna”. So for this movie, I give it an A+++++++++++ for showing us that there is always something to be happy about in dark or gloomy situations like what the movie showed us. Even if you have a bad day or are in a bad mood there is always something to be happy about. Life is full of surprises, some are good and some are bad. We should always keep looking for the good in everything because you’ll never know if you don’t try. Here’s a link if you want to get this movie on DVD. https://amzn.to/3XWoQ8K
