We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story is the most extraordinary dinosaur movie I’ve seen. This movie was based on a book back in 1983 by Hudson Talbott. The movie starts on a golf course where a young bird named Buster runs away from home because him being the youngest. When he falls from his nest, he meets Rex and the actual Tyrannosaurus and is intelligent now thanks to some Brain Grain Cereal, a cereal that can make any species evolve into intelligent species. But Rex wasn’t the only Dinosaur who had taken it. He was one of four dinosaurs brought in by Captain Neweyes, who wanted to make children’s dreams come true with his assistant Vorb, an alien from the Future where they’re both from. The other Dinosaurs’ names are Woog, a Triceratops, Elsa a Pteranodon, and Dweebs a Parasaurolophus who is intelligent and able to speak in sentences and make decisions on their own now and agrees to meet the children in the present. In the present, their mission was to get to the Museum of Natural History in New York City to meet Dr. Julia Bleeb and to make sure to stay far away from his younger brother, professor Screweyes. In the present time, which would be 1993, they meet two kids’ Louie and Cecilia, who also run away from their homes so that they can join the circus. The movie has a magnificent and incredible song by “John Goodman and Little Ritchie.” John Goodman is the main character and is named Rex. He and Ritchie sang the song perfectly. John did wonderfully during the middle part of the movie, while Little Ritchie did an excellent job at the end credits. The movie is full of Joy and laughter for the whole family to see and can remind us that family is the most important thing in the world and that friends help you along the way. So this movie, I give it an A- because of the way it teaches us about friends. Steven Spielberg also directed the movie and did a fantastic job with it.
