LazyTown

LazyTown was an amazing series growing up. The series was based on eating right, exercising, getting the right amount of sleep, and how to be a friend. The series was created in Iceland for children’s television but switched to English, for those who speak English only. The series starts with 8-year-old Stephanie coming to live with her uncle Mayor Meanswell in LazyTown and learns that all the children just want to do for fun is stay inside all day, every day. When she tries to get the kids Ziggy, Pixel, Stingy, and Trixie to do something fun outside that’s when we are introduced to Robbie Rotten, the villain of the series who wants to make everyone lazy in LazyTown. When Stephanie realizes that she’s in trouble she sends a letter to a superhero named Sporticus who is a great example of eating right, exercising, and sleeping at the right time and gives excellent advice to the kids in LazyTown. There are many great songs and dances to hear and dance to like, “No One’s Lazy in LazyTown,” “You Are A Pirate,” “Wake Up,” and “Life Can Be A Surprise.” For LazyTown, I give it an A+ for the way it shows us how to eat right, exercise right, and sleep right and can make a positive impact on your child’s life. To watch LazyTown full episodes you can watch them on YouTube.
