The Lorax is an all time classic of the famous author Dr. Seuss. It teaches us all about what we can do to save the environment and what could happen if we keep on doing wrong to the environment. The movie starts out with the Lorax introducing the town Thneedville where everything is made of plastic. A boy named Ted Wiggins is on a mission to find a living tree for the girl of his dreams, Audrey. One night his Grandmother told him to find the Once-ler, a man who lives outside of town and he told Ted the story of why there aren’t any living trees left. Now there is one person who wants to stop the trees from coming back and that is O’Hare whose company sells bottled oxygen to people and made a fortune from them. There are many great actors who are part of this film. Danny DeVito, the comedic genius, is the voice of the Lorax and Betty White, one of the Golden Girls, is the voice of Ted’s Grandmother. So for the movie I give it an A+ because of what it shows. So in the words of Dr. Seuss, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not”.
