Peter Pan has been a childhood classic that has changed the world in many ways for kids as they are growing up in life. The film is based off the novel of Peter Pan and the 1953 film of Disney. The plot line is a little bit different and gives us more background on how Peter came to Neverland and how he and Captain Hook met. The story starts out at the Darling’s Home in Edwardian, England where Wendy is getting ready to leave for boarding school while her brothers, John and Michael, are playing Peter Pan. Then one night as they are getting ready for bed, Wendy had a little argument with her Mother, Mary Darling and says that she doesn’t want to grow up. So later that evening Peter Pan and Tinkerbell take Wendy and her brothers to Neverland. Now there are some different songs in the movie and some instrumental songs from the previous Peter Pan film in 1953.

Growing up can be scary sometimes but as long as you remember that growing up is part of the adventure that lies ahead for you then your future will be bright. I really liked the ending as it gave me many emotions such as joy and sorrow. So for “Peter Pan and Wendy,” I give it an A for showing us that we all make mistakes and if we own up to them and face our fears of what happens then everything will be alright. The movie can only be seen on Disney+.
