Ratatouille is one of the best ways to teach kids never to give up on your dreams like if you want to be a firefighter, policeman or even a cook. You’ve probably heard the expression, “Anyone can cook.” It’s used a lot in Ratatouille and I don’t mean the food dish I mean the movie. Ratatouille takes places in Paris, France at the restaurant Gusteau’s where a young rat named Remy dreams of becoming a world class chef. Remy has a gift, he can smell all types of ingredients. Remy moves to Paris where he is lead by a figment of his imagination a version of Gusteau in his mind who encourages him to make his dream a reality to become the most famous chef in France. The restaurant becomes popular again after a bad review from a food critic named Anton Ego there he meets Alfredo Linguini who befriends him and together they can make a difference in the world of cooking. Remy is voiced by Patton Oswalt who did an excellent job at playing the role. Linguini is voiced by Lou Romano. Now I think this movie is a great example of following your dreams and becoming the person that you want to be not what others tell you that you can’t be because anyone can do anything as long as you follow your heart and never give up. When you follow your heart and keep hold of your dreams you can do anything and accomplish many great and wonderful things. The movie’s main villain is Chef Skinner who is voiced by Ian Holm and he played the role in the most perfect way. So for Ratatouille I give it an A+ because it’s a great example for anyone who wants to follow their dreams of becoming whatever they want to be. Following your dreams is a very important thing in life because we can do anything that we want to do and even though some people say we can’t do it and told us to give up on our dreams we keep trying no matter what. We rise up and keep practicing so we can make our dreams a reality. Here’s a link if you want to get the movie on DVD. https://amzn.to/3xDjEfh
