Dreamworks “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” has been around for a long time because it was first introduced in “The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show”. Mr. Peabody & Sherman is a fantastic movie but it sort of gives a little too much on history and their backgrounds. I mean there are lots of great laughs in the movie and many positive messages, but it was sort of like being in a history class room. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, I’m just saying that it should be more in the middle of humor and positive messages. The most positive message I think was that no matter who you are whether your a dad, mom, siblings or even one of the family pets you are always a part of the family and the bond between that love will never break even if your adopted into the family. Mr. Peabody was voiced by Ty Burrell and he did a wonderful job playing his character because he made the voice sound serious and terrific. Sherman was played by Max Charles and he did a marvelous job playing Sherman because he made the role more fun to watch on the big screen. A new character was introduced in the movie and her name is Penny Peterson who was played by Ariel Winter and she played the role perfectly and gave it a remarkable voice for the character. The story starts off with Mr. Peabody introducing himself, his background and of course Sherman. Then Mr. Peabody invited Penny’s family over for dinner due to an incident at school. Penny and Sherman take the time machine, also known as the WABAC, where they accidentally cause history to change and cause a rift in the space-time continuum. So for “Mr. Peabody & Sherman”, I’d give it an A- because it gives too much information about certain points in history.
